This is a view of Mount Tsiyon from the observation area at the City of David in the Kidron Valley. The church there marks the house of Caiphas the high priest, where Christ was brought after being captured at Gethsemane. Here the priests mocked him and gathered false testimony against him. This is also where Peter denied his association with Christ three times. (I think Gallicantu translates to bird-song, or cock-crow). I had a quick run through the church the day I went to Bethlehem, but here are my first pics of it.
